Guests traveling from the USA and Canada (and many other countries) do not need a visa but will need to provide a return ticket or evidence of onward travel. Travelers are responsible for researching visa requirements and obtaining a visa if needed.
Please check government websites to ensure you have the necessary documents, along with passport requirements, before your departure date. This includes necessary transit visas, permits, and vaccinations required before travel and any required reciprocity fees for the destination.
A full and valid passport is required for all persons traveling to any destination outside of one’s home country. Most international tours require a passport that is valid for at least six (6) months beyond the scheduled end of your itinerary. Renewed Spirit Adventures will not issue refunds based on passport issues such as renewals or lost passports.

The month of October in Uvita typically includes high temperatures, expect the temperatures during the day to hover around 26°C. At night, they will likely drop to about 22°C. The UV Index is high, so it’s a great idea to wear sunscreen and a hat when outside.

It is important to remember to bring clothing, bathing suits, toiletries, closed-toe shoes, long pants/shirts, full coverage hats, needed medication, spending cash/colones, a pair of jeans, a phone charger, etc. We will provide shampoo, conditioner, lotion, tissues, bug spray, sunscreen, after-sun oil, etc. At the property, there will be yoga mats, bath towels, and pool towels provided.

When packing, please check the weather forecasts. Bring shirts (including a long-sleeved shirt for sun protection), breathable yoga pants and bottoms, shorts, swimwear, coverups, undergarments, sleepwear, a light jacket, closed-toe shoes, and a hat.

During the Pre-retreat Discovery Session, we will ask about any dietary restrictions or allergies (including food, drinks, sprays, oils, bugs, animals, etc.). Please speak up early and don't hesitate to let us know if we have missed anything.

Due to the financial responsibility of Renewed Spirit Adventures for booking and holding the retreat property, all payments are non-refundable. It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance.

Before the retreat, we will guide you through registration and stay connected through call or email. After the retreat has ended, you will have the opportunity to join our Renewed Spirit Sisterhood, establish long-term relationships, and maintain your transformation through long-lasting support.

We encourage you to participate and engage fully in the process, but you will never be forced and may sit silently, step away, etc. If you need some 1:1 time, please speak to a leader and we will arrange it.
